Hotel Blume, Baden (Switzerland)
The water of the thermal spring of the Great Hot Stone bubbles continuously in front of the house. The Hotel Blume, first mentioned in 1421, welcomes guests for at least 600 years. The Romans already used the thermal water of the same healing spring as today’s hotel guests. The 19th-century-style baths and a cosy spa area are located on the ground floor. Created in the 1870s, the atrium combines elements of 16th-century Florence with 19th-century Paris Régence forms and is considered one of the most elegant rooms in Switzerland.
